ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES
Check-in time is between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, or notify the office if you plan to arrive later. All visitors must register at the office upon arrival. Check-out time is by 12:00 PM. To extend your stay, please contact the office between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Extensions are subject to availability.
GATE
The gate is closed at all times. A gate card will be issued for resort access. Please return the gate card upon departure to avoid a $50 replacement fee.
NO WASHING OF RIGS
No washing of rigs using city water or Y-connections is permitted. Rig washing service is available through the front office.
CARE OF LOTS AND UNITS
Renters must keep their lots clean and presentable at all times. Storage beneath RVs or in view of roads or other lots is not allowed. Units must be kept free of dirt and mold. If Silver Palms staff must clean a unit, a fee of $100 per hour will apply. Renters are responsible for any damage to their units, sites, or resort facilities. No items may be left onsite upon departure.
GUESTS
All guests must register at the office before or upon arrival, regardless of their stay length. A visitor tag will be issued. Overnight guests must reside in your RV. Residents are responsible for ensuring guests follow all resort rules and policies.
REPAIRS
Vehicle repairs are not permitted within the resort. This includes oil changes, tire changes, and mechanical work.
YARD SALES
Yard sales are not allowed unless coordinated through the activities office.
TENANTS
Silver Palms reserves the right to evict any tenant deemed incompatible with the community.
SIGNS
No signs may be displayed on lots or units unless authorized. Only name signs and site numbers are allowed.
SPEED LIMIT
The resort-wide speed limit is 11 MPH. Please drive cautiously and observe this limit at all times.
PRIVACY AND PROPERTY
Please respect your neighbors. Keep radios, stereos, and televisions at a low volume. Satellite dishes must not exceed 24″ in diameter and must be mounted on the rear of the RV at or above roof height. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
GARBAGE
Household trash must be bagged and placed at the end of your site by 8:00 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for pickup. Do not set trash out the night before. Outside garbage cans are not allowed.
CLOTHES LINES
Clotheslines and outdoor laundry drying are not permitted. Commercial dryers are available in the laundry facility.
FIREARMS AND FIREWORKS
Fireworks are not permitted. All local, state, and federal firearms laws must be followed.
PETS
Cats and dogs are allowed. Aggressive breeds are not permitted. Pets must always be with their owners and on a 6-foot leash. They must be registered upon check-in. Owners must clean up after pets and prevent them from entering other sites. Pet stations are available. Persistent barking or misbehavior will not be tolerated. Pets are not allowed in resort buildings or recreational areas. No pet bathing in bathhouses. No pet pens or fences allowed.
ALLIGATORS
If you see an alligator on the property, do not feed or approach it. Notify the office immediately.
LAKE AREAS
No swimming is permitted in the lakes. Fishing is catch-and-release only. Silver Palms assumes no liability in these areas.
PUBLIC AREAS
Keep public areas clean. Profanity, intoxication, and disorderly conduct are not permitted. Guests are the responsibility of the resident. Damage caused by guests will be billed to the resident. Appropriate attire (shirts, shoes, and cover-ups) is required in all buildings.
SEWER HOSES
All sewer hoses must be equipped with a rubber collar for secure connection.
PARKING
Do not park in the streets or on adjacent lots. Guest parking is provided at the clubhouse. No more than two vehicles are allowed per site.
CHILDREN
Silver Palms is an adult community. Visiting children must be supervised. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a site owner or tenant when using buildings or amenities. They are not permitted to drive golf carts or use billiard or fitness facilities. Children must be supervised in the pool and may not enter the spa.
TREES
Do not trim or cut trees. Report fallen limbs or dead fronds to the office for maintenance.
SWIMMING POOL
The pool is unattended. Use is at your own risk. Children must be supervised by a registered adult and wear swim diapers if applicable. Pool hours are sunrise to sunset. No glass containers are allowed. Children are not permitted in the spa.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Excessive drinking and disorderly conduct are not allowed in public areas or resort buildings.
RULES ENFORCEMENT
Silver Palms management reserves the right to implement and enforce rules to ensure tenant safety, comfort, and property protection. Rules and amenities are subject to change without notice.
RATES
Rates are based on occupancy of no more than two people per site.
REFUNDS
No refunds will be issued for early departures.
BICYCLES
All bicycles must be equipped with lights for nighttime use.
PROPANE FILLING
Please contact the front desk at (863) 467-5800 for propane service instructions.
NO VANS, TRUCKS, POP-UP CAMPERS OR TENTS ALLOWED
Only self-contained, commercially manufactured RVs in good condition and requiring full hookups are allowed. Tents and pop-up shelters are not permitted.
DEBRIS REMOVAL
Renters must clean all debris and restore the lot to its original condition upon departure.
SILVER PALMS
Silver Palms is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, or theft.
INDEMNIFICATION
Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless Silver Palms RV Resort, its affiliates, and agents from any claims, damages, or losses, including legal fees, resulting from their stay or activities on the property.
FLAGS AND POLES
One flagpole is allowed per site and may not exceed 16 feet. Offensive flags are not permitted.
FIRE PITS/CAMPFIRES
Wood-burning fires are not allowed. Only propane or gel fuel fire pits are permitted.
WILDLIFE PRESERVE
The wildlife preserve is protected. Do not enter or allow pets into the area. Stay behind all posted boundaries and ropes.
NON-SMOKING RESORT
Smoking is not allowed in or around public buildings, the pool, or hot tub. Smoking is allowed at your RV site. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
STORAGE OF TRAILERS OR BOATS
Trailers and boats may not be stored on-site. Contact the office to inquire about availability of storage or arrange offsite storage.
WATER METERS
Water meters are located at the front of each lot. Avoid damaging them when moving your RV. A $250 fee will be charged for any damage. Staff is available to assist with parking. Contact the front desk if needed.
SCREEN ROOMS
No screen rooms or detached shelters are allowed. Approved pet fences only. No tents, pop-ups, or canopies are permitted.
