Oak Creek RV Resort is conveniently located for guests who want to explore San Diego attractions. Most popular destinations are within a 20 to 25-minute drive, making the resort an ideal home base for sightseeing, entertainment, and coastal adventures. Nearby attractions include the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, Petco Park, SeaWorld, and the USS Midway Museum. Beaches like Coronado, La Jolla, and Mission Beach are also just a short drive away. Guests also have easy access to nearby outdoor activities such as hiking at Mission Trails Regional Park and local wineries.

Can I have a campfire?
Yes, propane barbecue and propane firepits are allowed. Firepits or barbecues may not be left unattended at any time. Local City ordinance does not allow wood burning or charcoal fire pits.
Do you have restrictions on the type of RV or what year it is?
Yes. All RVs must be fully self-contained and are subject to exterior inspection upon arrival. Your RV must be clean and rust-free, with no broken windows, and if motor powered, running. Tarps on roofs, duct tape and other modifications are strictly prohibited. The RV must be 10 years or newer. There are exceptions to this rule; please contact the resort manager if you think your RV qualifies. Sorry, no tent camping.
When is check-in and check-out time?
Check-in time is 1 p.m. Check-out is 12 p.m. Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a nominal fee.
Do you sell propane?
We do not have an on-site propane station. However, propane services are available, including metered LP gas and bottle exchange options. Guests should inquire at the resort office for assistance with propane needs during their stay.
Do you have a heated pool?
Yes. We have a year-round heated outdoor pool that is maintained at 84 degrees F. Our hot tub is also open year-round and is maintained at 102 degrees F. The pool and hot tub hours are from 8 a.m.- 9 p.m. seven days a week.
Are you close to shopping and dining?
Yes, Oak Creek RV Resort is conveniently located near a variety of shopping and dining options. Several local restaurants in El Cajon are within a two-minute drive of the resort, offering diverse culinary choices. Additionally, grocery stores and major retailers, such as Walmart, are only about 10 minutes away. For a more extensive shopping experience, Parkway Plaza Mall, featuring numerous stores and eateries, is also nearby. The resort's front office provides local maps and recommendations to help guests explore the best dining and shopping spots in the area.
Do you have group space and sites?
Yes. Our resort has a beautiful clubhouse for smaller, more intimate events for groups of 10 or less, but it does not have a kitchen or dedicated meeting room. Contact our reservation team at (888) 787-8297 if you are looking for group accommodations with 10 or more RVs and need additional meeting facilities.
Do you have pull-thru spaces? Can you accommodate a 45' RV?
Yes, Oak Creek RV Resort offers pull-through sites and can accommodate RVs up to 45 feet in length. However, due to high demand, pull-through sites are not available for extended stay reservations. The resort provides many large sites suitable for extended stay guests with larger R
Do RV sites offer full hook-ups?
Yes, all of our RV sites offer water, sewer, cable TV, 30/50 amp electric, and trash service. All stays 14 consecutive nights and longer are subject to metered electric charges.
Do you offer free WIFI?
We offer Broadband Internet connection for free at 5MBps (Megabytes) for checking emails and social media sites. However, if you will be streaming video (Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, etc.), that delivers 15 MBps with multiple devices.
